  4. Blend the mixture, along with milk and 1 1/2 cup water in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  5. Strain the mixture through strainer.
  6. Transfer the mixture in a non -stick pan,add salt and pepper corns,mix well and cook on medium flame for 3 mins.
  7. Serve hot.

Allow the water to simmer for one to two hours, skimming off the foam. The longer you let this go, the sweeter the soup will be. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, black gram, curry leaves and when the seeds splutter, add onions and sauté till lightly browned.
