Hey everyone, it’s Drew, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a distinctive dish, radish kimchi. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Korean radish (mu or muwoo in Korean) or daikon is used to make this kimchi. Ingredients: Korean radish (or daikon), salt, sugar, fish sauce, hot pepper flakes, green onions, garlic, ginger. Radish kimchi is a kimchi made out of radish and its Korean name is Kkakdugi (깍두기). The name originates from kkakduk sseolgi (깍둑설기) in Korean.

Radish kimchi is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Radish kimchi is something which I’ve loved my entire life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook radish kimchi using 8 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Radish kimchi:
  1. Get 1 whole Radish (julienne slice)
  2. Make ready 200 gm salt
  3. Take 100 gm fresh ginger (julienne slice)
  4. Get Marinated kimchi base
  5. Prepare 250 gm Gochujang (korean chili paste)
  6. Make ready 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  7. Prepare 2 tablespoon mirin
  8. Take 1 tablespoon roasted white sesame

It was a long time ago but I clearly remember. Kkakdugi is a kimchi made with Korean radish, mu (or moo). It's an easy kimchi to make! Simply cut the radishes into cubes, salt for a short time, and then mix with the seasonings.

Steps to make Radish kimchi:
  1. Mixed the salt with Radish and ginger. Marinated around 2 hours. After 2 hours, wash out the salt and press out the water from the Radish and ginger. Put a side, use it later.
  2. Mixed the the marinated base ingredients in a big bowl then add in the Radish and ginger slices into the bowl. Stir well until all the base combine.
  3. Store in a food container, keep in the fridge fir at least 48hours. Taste will be awesome.

It's an easy kimchi to make! Simply cut the radishes into cubes, salt for a short time, and then mix with the seasonings. Simple to make with authentic taste. Called Seokbakji (섞박지) in Korean - so good it's addicting. Kkakdugi is a type of kimchi made with Korean radish ("mu" in Korean).
